Mrs Leïla Ben Ali awarded the golden shield of the Arab Women Organization
CARTHAGE, March 25, 2008 - The opening ceremony of the Forum on "Arab Women and the Globalized Communication Space" was marked by the awarding of Mrs. Leila Ben Ali, first lady of Tunisia, the Golden Shield of the Arab Women Organization, presented to her by Mrs. Wadouda Badran, the Organization's Director-General.

A dream come true:

On the occasion of the National Day of the Disabled, Mrs Leila Ben Ali inaugurated the pedagogic, computer, cultural and sports centre for disabled children on May 29, 2002. It was built on a land granted by President Ben Ali.
